A great alternative to the typical Mimosa. The refreshing Lavender Bellini will make you linger a little longer over your usual Sunday Brunch.

How did you celebrated 5 de Mayo? We were lucky to have a huge block party around the neighborhood. But before hitting the party scene, the hubby and I hosted a pre-game at our place. We wanted to make something special, but also easy to make. After evaluating lots of options, we decided to go with the Frozen Guava Margarita… Simple, festive and quite delish.

Ingredients

Direction
Rub a lime wedge around the edges of margarita glasses and dip immediately in coarse sugar. Place in freezer for 10 minutes. In a blender, combine the ice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, and guava juice. Blend until combined and the ice cubes are crushed. Pour into the chilled glasses, garnish each with a lime slice, and serve immediately. Serves 4. (source)

I went crazy when I found this recipe! You should know by now that I’m a huge fan of a good and creative cocktail. I’ve seen a lot of alcohol Lollipops lately, but never one made with wine. So here it is! If you decide to get fun and creative this weekend, I recommend giving this one a try. Specially with Valentines coming up;-) Salud via gastrogirl red wine lollipop.

Have a spooky happy hour!! After a hard week of work we definitely deserve some drinks. Haven in South Beach, is the perfect place to go for chic and exciting cocktails. Expect a scary smoking cold drink produced with liquid nitrogen called the Pop Drop (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Cucumber & Basil/Alcoholic Popsicle). Cheers!
